Thank you Ken DeForest of Waste Pro, for sponsoring the Breakfast Club Meeting at the Chamber on June 27, 2019!
We learned how the New Smyrna Beach recycling program works, how the material is collected, what is NOT recyclable, where the material goes, is the material really recycled and how does the material get to market?
Ken also had an interactive demonstration for all to be involved.

The State of the Cities Luncheon was an exciting and informative event. We were fortunate enough to be able to have the Mayors and Commissioners of each of the Southeast Volusia County cities to attend and speak on the State of Our Cities! Each of them shared a lot of enlightening information about the accomplishments and future goals of the cities. We had a full house, and the food provided by the Smyrna Yacht Club was amazing as always!!
